Lilli's eyelid piercing (compliments of an old umbrella spoke.)
Bruce's graduation (and all the cute pictures of the kids.)

All the swimming we've done (and Lilli's runny poop that seems to happen EVERY single time we've gone because I keep forgetting to buy swim diapers, not that the swim diapers would hold it any better).
Eva's acheivement coupons that she seems to get every year from her school. (Unfortuneatly, we can't afford to take her to all the places she has coupons for.)
Some of our house spiffing-up. (not that you would want to see all our new little shelves.)
Pictures of old friends who moved away; Edens (sniff, sniff, tiny cry) and some new friends that we seem to make every time I take the kids somewhere there are other kids. (YEAH for sociable kids.)

Nidiam's wedding and reception (all you wedding helpers are rock stars). We now get to see them once a week! (Yay for 1st ward boundaries!)

Well, almost 2 weeks later and the mass has almost completely softened up/gone!
So thank you for any thoughts or prayers sent our way.
These are not the only changes that have happened but the others are a little too personal to be sharing with anyone, so let's just say " It's alll goooood!"
By the way, I'm not pregnant; for all you skeptical/wise people whose first thought is.....

Yes, I am fertile Myrtle (that was actually my great grandma's name, huh, what a coinkidink!)
but we are thinking about another baby next year. Hopefully we will be out of debt next year, so it will not be so hard.
I found an article in the Fort Worth Child magazine about vaccines and the scheduling/timing and there are real dr.'s who only administer shots 1 at a time and who use Thimerasol-FREE vaccines.

And you can bet I'm gonna be calling her up to bug her about getting those vaccines; either to my Dr. or going to her to get them.

The soapmaking thing is going very slowly.......
I don't have as much time or money as needed to do it, so for all you wise sages please feel free to dole out any advice.
But I am using alot of the fabric a friend gave me. That counts for something, like no waste, right?
By the way, My mother-in-law rocks!
I went to Utah for the weekend For my sisters' graduation (Yay for my UTE rad grad, Michelle! )
and Roxy stayed with the kids, cleaned my house, organized it and decorated it with her own money! Man, How lucky am I? I will post pics of the new sprucing momentarily.
One last thing, I am having a yard sale tomorrow so anyone who is interested in this fabric, come by, and I'll give it to you!

Green is Sexy!
I have always been a bit of a tree hugger, alot due to the fact that I lived in Costa Rica while I was a teen, and they do everything pretty naturally there. This passion of mine has recently become inflamed (because it had been mildly dormant) because of all the things I have seen and heard around me, mostly dealing with health.
Well, about a week ago, My IUD was really bothering me; pinching, pulling, poking and I know this is TMI but I checked to see if it was in place and instead found a tiny hard mass on my cervix.
Now I was too tired to think about what it could mean so I went to bed and then freaked out about it the next day.
I called the Dr. to get it checked and miraculously got in to the Dr. that morning and a friend kindly watched my kids so I could go alone.
Well, Bruce knows this story and while he was kind, he decided that he wasn't going to stress about it, until he knew what was going on. But he promised me that we would do whatever it took to get healthy and stay healthy.
So at the Dr. he took out the IUD, and told me not to worry about the mass, wouldn't say anything beyond that. So while I was relieved, I am not convinced that it is ok because I know that any hardening or scarring of the cervix or uterus makes labor harder, if not impossible.
So I have decided to go as organic as possible for our big family and our tiny budget.
I will be making our own soaps, house cleaners and growing our own food. I am debating making the kids soaps because we have such a problem with waste in our family.
So, now I am committed to this ideal of no waste and self-suffiency and I hope you will all support me and possibly give me ideas. I will post recipes and pictures of the things I do make.
If you need any fabric scraps for anything, please call me and I'd be happy to give you whatever you need!

Some fun things we have done the last couple of weeks
Went to a meat farm. Thinking about becoming a vegetarian.Got caught an insane hailstorm. Sounded like a million bullets being shot at the car. Kids were screaming, I was praying and Bruce was singing. 
We then waited it out at with a dinner at CiCi's. I keep forgetting that junk food/fast food makes me sick. I felt terrible all the next day. I've heard the older you get, if you eat it, the more it messes you up. Mental note.
This is a family celebration we had, all we needed was ballons and bubbles.
We also had a birthday party on Sat. but since I didn't stay up till 4 on Friday night cleaning, cooking and stressing, (I did) it was okay that only 2 people showed up. So for all you super busy people, please call Bruce on Tuesday for his birthday! Oh yeah, he is having a graduation ceremony in June, so you are forewarned!

So much has happened in the last few weeks, (mostly just me sewing more than I probably should.) But April is both Bruce's and Ethan's birthday month and that always keeps me busy so mostly I will post pictures.
